Take delight in the works of mercy, in almsgiving, visiting hospitals, jails, and the sick and helping the poor in every way possible, especially those in greater need. Seek membership in some pious association for pious works, or some company of spiritual men, so as to perform some pious work and to keep yourself well occupied, especially on feast days.
